Curriculum
We believe children learn best with a balance of teacher directed and child initiated activities that encourage thinking, reasoning, and communication. Our program includes learning objectives and activities to address all areas of growth in children ages 18 months thru 5 years of age.

Preschool

We have divided our preschool curriculum into seven areas:

  1. Social and Emotional - to develop confidence, curiosity, initiative, self-direction and self-control
  2. Physical Development - to participate in a variety of gross and fine motor activities
  3. Creative Expression - to participate in music, art and drama activities
  4. Language - to develop listening skills, discriminate beginning sounds, age appropriate writing and expressive skills
  5. Mathematics - to sort and classify, understanding basic shapes, patterns and numbers
  6. Science - to acquire knowledge related to life, physical, earth and health science
  7. Social Studies - to develop an appreciation for his/her role as a member of the family, the classroom and the community

Parent's Morning Out

Our Parent’s Morning Out curriculum is divided into 3 areas:

  1. Social Development - to develop confidence, curiosity, initiative, self-direction and self control.
  2. Physical Development - to participate in a variety of gross and fine motor activities.
  3. Cognitive Development - to participate in age appropriate activities to develop vocabulary, object recognition and simple concepts.
