Worship at Alpharetta Presbyterian Church
Worship is the heart of our congregation. On Sundays and other holy days, our Reformed service glorifies God and proclaims Christ's teachings. Our pastors, lay leaders and music ministries inspire and encourage our congregation to hear the Good News, to proclaim the Kingdom of God, and to witness to the community.
We are a Welcoming Congregation
Our building is handicapped accessible, and we provide hearing assistance devices and large-print Bibles, hymn sheets and bulletins. Gluten-free wafers are provided during 1st Sunday Communion. We also offer our Promise Class for special needs children at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.
Sunday Worship Schedule
The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the first
Sunday of each month during each service, and a weekly offering is collected to support the life and
work of the church.
Typical Sunday Schedule

9:30 Worship Service

scripture that speaks to life and faith today. A choral ensemble leads music
that is accompanied by organ or piano. A brief message is given for
children on the chancel steps. This service typically lasts one hour. Nursery is provided as well as Promise Class for children with special needs.
9:30 a.m. Sunday School
During the 9:30
hour, there are ample opportunities for fellowship and Christian education for
all ages and interests. We also offer a confirmation program for 8th graders to
prepare them for active church membership. All Sunday School classes welcome
visitors, so feel free to drop in! One of our adult education classes meets at 8:30 a.m. A full class listing can be found here
