“Snowball Mountain Challenge“

Each summer, APC welcomes 100 or more children from the congregation and the local community for a week of fun and games, Bible stories, science experiments, hands-on mission activities to help others, music and dancing and of course, lots of cool snacks. There are many volunteer opportunities for adults and youth—VBS is a super fun week for the whole church family!  

In 2026, our theme will be “Snowball Mountain Challenge!” Kids will become Challengers, gearing up for frosty games, snowy surprises, and hands-on lessons about resilience and faith. Guided daily by Ollie the Arctic Seal, who is reporting on the events, Challengers aren’t just playing games; they learn to draw strength from their faith through powerful stories of courage and hope. With a unique winter theme and solid theology at its core, this VBS delivers joy and meaning in equal measure, teaching kids that “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13 NRSV).
