Meet Our Pastors
Senior Pastor
Dr. G. Oliver Wagner, V
Ollie and his wife, Heather, have three adult children: Jacob, Neal and Zoey. Ollie is a graduate of Davidson College (NC), Union Presbyterian Theological Seminary (VA) and Columbia Theological Seminary (GA). Before he came to APC, he served as a college chaplain, associate pastor and solo pastor in several states. As senior pastor, Ollie does the majority of the preaching, shares in teaching and providing pastoral care, moderates meetings of the Session and leads the APC staff. He also enjoys fishing, playing church softball and lending a hand on property work days.
Associate Pastor
Rev. Dana AbuGhazaleh
Dana AbuGhazaleh is a Jordanian/Palestinian woman. She graduated with a BSc. in Electronic Engineering from Princess Sumaya University for Technology in Jordan (2002), then graduated from Columbia Theological Seminary with her MDiv degree (2023) and her ThM (2024) in Biblical Studies. Dana was recently ordained and is the first Jordanian woman to be ordained and the first Palestinian woman to be ordained in the PCUSA. Dana is married and has three daughters; Teya, Tara, and Talia, who live with her in the US while her husband, Rami, lives and works overseas. Dana enjoys baking, reading, swimming, and doing pottery.
Pastor Emeritus
Rev. Dr. Walter M. Jones, Jr.
Walter enrolled at Columbia Seminary when he was 40 and after graduation was called to Eastminster Church in 1984, then to Alpharetta Presbyterian Church in 1995. Walter earned the title Emeritus in the fall of 2011, and at that time the Memorial Garden was dedicated in his honor. He currently lives in Dalton, with his wife Jeane.
