Music & Choirs

APC’s vibrant music ministry provides diverse offerings to enhance our worship services. There are opportunities for musicians and instrumentalists of all ages.

Chancel Choir

• Leads Sunday worship at 9:30 and 11:00 am
• Open to all adults and high school students
• Rehearses on Wednesdays from 7:30pm – 9:00pm in the Choir Room (101)
• Led by Drew Bowers, Director of Music

Women’s Ensemble

• Sings during worship services occasionally.
• Open to all women, from high school students to adults.
• Rehearses during the school year from 12:15-1pm in the Choir Room.
• Led by Riley Schreer, Assistant Director of Music

Handbell Choir

• Consists of three octaves of handbells and hand chimes
• Performs during worship services about once a month
• Open to all adults and high school students, limited positions available
• Rehearses on Wednesday from 6:15-7:00pm in Daybreak Room (107)

Instrumentalists and Vocal Soloists

• Often featured during Sunday services and special programs
• Open to accomplished musicians of all ages
• Soloists, small groups, and accompanists are welcome

Youth Choir

• Sings during services at 9:30 and 11:00am occasionally.
• Open to all youth in grades 6 – 12
• Rehearses during the school year on Sundays from 4:45-5:30pm in the Choir Room.
• Led by Riley Schreer, Assistant Director of Music

Children’s Choir

• Sings during services at 11:00 am occasionally.
• Open to all children in grades 1 – 5
• Rehearses during the school year on Sundays from 10:20-10:50 am in the Daybreak Room (107)
• Led by Riley Schreer

Cherub Choir

• Sings during services occasionally
• Open to all children ages 3-5
• Rehearses during the school year on Sundays from 10:20-10:50 am in the Sunshine Room (110)
