Join Us This Sunday!

Sunday worship services in our sanctuary are held on Sunday mornings at 9:30 & 11:00 am (traditional services) and on certain Sunday evenings at 5:00pm (EPIC services).
All are welcome to join us. In April, 2025, we will begin offering our EPIC services on the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month.

Can’t join us in person? We livestream our 11am service each Sunday via YouTube for those who are not able to attend in person. You may watch the service live at 11am or later at your convenience. Visit our Livestream page to view those weekly links.

About Our Sunday Worship Services

Alpharetta Presbyterian Church welcomes all! Our Sunday morning services are traditional, with congregational liturgy, a scripture-based sermon, hymns sung by the congregation, special music provided by choirs and instrumentalists, and a children’s message. Holy Communion is served on the 1st Sunday of each month, and on other Holy Days throughout the year. The ushers will provide you with a bulletin containing an easy-to-follow order of worship. On certain Sunday evenings at 5:00pm, we offer EPIC Worship, a casual service featuring praise music and interactive discussion. A “play n’ pray” area for children is provided in the back of the sanctuary. Refreshments are offered in Fellowship Hall after the service to give time for visiting and good conversation. Beginning in April, 2025, we will offer EPIC services on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.

Young Children on Sundays

Children’s Moment: During both morning worship services, children will be invited to join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a special message and prayer just for them.

Play Time: During Sunday morning worship at 11 am, we offer supervised play time for children through 5th grade. Kids sit with their families in worship until the Children’s Moment, after which those who choose to participate are led by a staff member from the sanctuary to the Sunshine Room for playtime indoors and to the playground outside, weather permitting. Parents pick up their children after the worship service. Parental sign-outs are required.

Worship Activity Bags: Designed to keep little hands busy during worship services, our age-appropriate activity bags may be found in the lobby outside the sanctuary.

Nursery: Our professional caregivers welcome newborns through 24-month-olds in our Infant Nursery. 2 and 3-year-olds enjoy a separate Toddler Nursery in our large divided space.

EPIC Worship Services twice a month at 5pm offer a “Play n’ Pray” area in the back of sanctuary where young ones can stay busy while enjoying the service with their family.

Holy Communion

You don’t have to be a member of the church or even a Presbyterian to participate in the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion). There is no age requirement. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month and on other days determined by the liturgical calendar.
